Announcement for the 3rd Annual Princess Of Asia Pageant

The Annual Princess Of Asia (POA) Pageant was introduced in 2023 with twelve contestants. Three inaugural queens were crowned. The purpose of Princess Of Asia is to help participants to gain leadership, self-confidence, and valuable communication skills. We aim to challenge stereotypes and honor the true diversity of Asian Americans.

Crown Fav2

In 2024, twenty contestants and nine escorts participated in the 2nd Annual Princess Of Asia pageant with six queens crowned and one best escort awarded. The Annual Princess Of Asia pageant continues to make a meaningful impact by engaging with the community through various charitable and cultural events. The current titleholders have represented Asian American communities through multiple public appearances and service initiatives.

Building on the success of our previous Princess Of Asia pageants, the Confidence Building Academy of Minnesota, in collaboration with the Alliance of Minnesota Chinese Organizations and our valued corporate and individual sponsors, is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Princess of Asia pageant for 2025. Our official website, www.princessofasia.org, launched on November 18, 2024, providing comprehensive information and online registration for interested participants.

The 2025 Princess Of Asia pageant will maintain its established competition format, which includes four required areas: community service (10%), evening gown presentation (30%), self-introduction (30%), and on-stage questions (30%). The competition is open to girls and women with Asian heritage, including those 4 years and older, as well as girls adopted by Asian parents. Male participants, aged 6 and older of any racial background, are welcome to volunteer as escorts.

New For the 2025 POA

In 2025, the pageant will recognize two Best Escorts: one under 13 and one 13 and older. We are introducing an Optional Runway Competition, which will not impact queen title scoring. This inclusive event is open to participants of all races, ages 4 and up, regardless of gender. The runway contestants are encouraged to showcase their cultural heritage by wearing traditional ethnic outfits, while also exploring their interests in modeling and acting. Last but not least, we are launching an internship program for individuals 13 and older, welcoming applications from both Asian and non-Asian participants across genders.
